55 Fiction Fridays: Twinkle Twinkle

Since she was a child, she’d do it: the quick glance up into the night sky, pick a winner, and scrunch up her eyes and wish for the first thing that came to mind. With the words to the rhyme on her lips, she opened her eyes. The star moved –yet another wish on airplane.

I can't see the words Twinkle Twinkle without thinking of Vince Vaughn, I'm ashamed to admit.

I wish I could follow suit on Fiction Fridays, but I was once told by a writing instructor that I "don't respond well to structure and constraint." :)
