55 Fiction Friday: Duality edition

Friday!

Sometimes I think you don’t understand me at all. And then, you smile at me from across the room at a house party, riffing off something only we would find funny. The left corner of your mouth curved, the barest hint of teeth – it is such a small thing, but it holds me to you.

Hey! Your 55er reminded me of this:

"At the party where we first met, you walked into the room – tall and slender - and I told myself – 'Wow! I wish that somebody would introduce us!'"

"Liar! You didn’t even look at me once all evening!"

"I did! I’m discreet."

"Discreet my foot! I always know when a man is looking at me!"

And if you liked it, why don't you drop in and join in here, here or here. :D
