Friday gets some errands done.
Oh, c’mon –she just pulled her checkbook out of her purse? Like she didn’t know she was going to have to pay for the groceries when she got in line. Now that the checker has scanned and totaled everything – now she decides to start filling out her check. More time with the Enquirer, I guess.

I despise people who write checks in stores; get with the 21st century and use your freaking debit card already!
Ha. I'm a check writer, especially in grocery stores (because there is time to do it), but at least I'm courteous. Sometimes, I'd just rather use them. I think it's mostly because of the delay in the debiting from my account with checks that is so lacking when using a bank card.
